Seven of Swords
"A man slips away from the camp with five swords, leaving two behind: the strategy that borders on deceit."
Upright meaning
The Seven of Swords is the cunning move, made in silence and on one's own. It can be legitimate strategy — choosing battles well, playing smart — or the edge of deceit: taking what is not yours, slipping out of a responsibility, acting behind others' backs. There is wit, but also something done in hiding.
Reversed meaning
Reversed, the hidden comes to light. A deceit exposed, a confession, or the decision to stop pretending and lay the cards on the table. The mask falls.
In love
Secrets, half-truths, or a lack of transparency. The bond is cared for with the cards in view.
In work and money
Cunning and strategy, but beware of dishonest shortcuts or of carrying everything alone.
The card's advice
Be shrewd without turning crooked: what you win in hiding is lost in hiding.
