Ten of Wands

"A stooped figure carries ten wands it can barely hold: the weight of taking on too much."

overloadresponsibilityeffortheavy burdenshedding weightdelegatingrelease

Upright meaning

The Ten of Wands is the weight of success poorly shared. Someone carries, stooped, more than they can: accumulated responsibilities, commitments never set down, all on their back. It speaks of effort and of achievement, yes, but also of carrying alone what could be shared. You arrive, but at a cost worth reviewing.

Reversed meaning

Reversed, the weight lightens. You learn to delegate, set down commitments that were not yours, or recognize that you need not carry everything alone. The shoulders finally breathe.

In love

A bond that feels like obligation more than joy. Share the weight or release what no longer adds.

In work and money

Too many responsibilities on your shoulders. Delegate: carrying it all alone does not make you stronger, only more tired.

The card's advice

Set down a few wands: arriving wrecked is not arriving, it is dragging yourself.
