Five of Wands
"Five youths brandish their wands in a confused brawl: the clash of energies that cannot agree."
Upright meaning
The Five of Wands is the racket of five forces each pulling its own way. It speaks of competition, of arguments, of clashing egos and of energy that, poorly coordinated, turns to chaos. It is not always a serious fight: sometimes it is the healthy friction of different ideas. But it asks you to bring order before the disorder wears everyone out.
Reversed meaning
Reversed, the racket calms. The conflict resolves, a pointless fight is avoided, or you learn to coordinate the forces instead of clashing them. Chaos finds its order.
In love
Friction, petty arguments, or competition that muddies things. Lower the weapons and coordinate.
In work and money
A competitive atmosphere, clashing ideas, or disorganization on the team. Channel the energy toward a common goal.
The card's advice
Bring order to the racket: five uncoordinated forces do not build, they only tire.
